Biker Mice from Mars probably started out life as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wannabe, but soon carved out a life of its own.  Three mutated creatures with a female human companion fighting against an alien life form of some sort - no, not the Ninja Turtles, but the Biker Mice.  The mutated mice are originally from Mars and the human female was not called April, but is named Charlie instead.

Charlie was a mechanic, yes a mechanic.  Her role in the mythos is to fix the bikes that the biker mice rode on.  Urm... OK, so it probably panders to adolescents hoping for a view of a women covered in grease serving hands and foot on three huge pest - not a great image generally.

Anyways, the Biker Mice seemed to be more popular than their contemporaries, the SWAT Cats and Bucky O'Hare - which also had toys and a cartoon series with similar style and music.

The bad guys of the series were disgusting and and a bad joke generally.  I mean they were lead by an alien called Limburger who smelled bad, a semi human called Greasepit who seemed to sweat grease and a mad doctor called Karbunkle - Urgh!

Gross - yeah, urgh!  Head over to the Virtual Toychest to have a look at pictures of the toys.  More information about the Biker Mice can be found at the Unofficial Biker Mice from Mars Fan Club.
